Spring Patio Refresh thanks to Tuesday Morning!

Happy spring ladies! Who is ready for some patio weather? If you’re a midwest girl like myself, then you already know how valuable our patio time is! When we first moved into our new house, one of spaces I could not wait to transform was the backyard. It was in need of some MAJOR TLC and I knew the process would take longer than a few days. Thankfully Tuesday Morning has everything we needed to take our patio space from drab to fab in a few minutes!

The main goal with our patio was to create a space where our friends and family could spend time together. If you’ve been a reader for awhile then you already know I use any possible excuse to host people. The more get togethers we can have the better! So at the end of February Aaron and I made a huge goal, we would have a housewarming the second weekend in April. The countdown to creating a backyard of our dreams was officially on!
We had recently purchased our patio sofa, but we still needed EVERYTHING else to help the space really come together. Thankfully there is a Tuesday Morning less than 10 miles away from our house!

I immediately fell in love with Tuesday Morning’s spring collection! From the outdoor rugs to the beautiful patio accessories, I knew it would be hard to not leave with the entire store.
We decided to purchase the following items:

The spring collection at Tuesday Morning is all about patterns and beautifully bright colors. The interior of our house is pretty neutral, and we knew that our outdoor space was going to be the place we went all out! This blue and turquoise rug immediately caught both of our attention. It was the perfect color and style for pulling our patio together! .
Since Hazel has a talent for attacking all of our plants, we knew planters were a must! I wanted sturdy planters that would withstand the insane Ohio weather and keep Hazel out. These plant boxes have been an AMAZING addition to our patio! Not only do they look beautiful, they are also functional! Look how different the before and after of our patio space is, just by adding planters!
PRO TIP: if you have a limited outdoor decor budget, spend your money on a durable rug. It will immediately transform the space, and make it feel homey.
When it came time for the party, the weather was beautiful and our friends loved spending every minute out on our patio! The couch was instantly the place to hang out thanks to the cozy pillows and rug. The plants were slightly elevated by being in the planters, which helped to create a private getaway feel!
Aaron and I are already planning our next big outdoor party. I can not wait for all the memories we are going to make in our outdoor space for the years to come!
