Friday Five: Top 5 Happy Hour Spots in Columbus

Happy Hour Spots in Columbus- Gimme all the $2 drinks please!

Have you seen the latest on IG?

Happy Friday loves! I don’t know about you all, but I’m ready for the weekend and a glass of rose in my hand.

One of my favorite “adult” things to do is happy hour. Give me a deal that involves wine and I’m one happy girl. Which leads us to today’s Friday Five: Happy Hour Spots in Columbus! I’ve been living in Columbus for five months now and feel like I have a great grasp on some prime happy hour spots.

Club 185

Club 185 is my top pick when it comes to happy hour specials. Now, I will give you a fair warning… it’s not the most “Instagrammable” spot in Columbus. But their specials are unreal and will have you feeling satisfied for under $20.

Here’s the scoop: happy hour is M-F from 4-7pm every week. The special, $2 well drinks, $4 glasses of wine, happy hour food menu (everything is under $10) and cheap draft beers. I do not drink beer, so I can not tell you the exact beer price. But I do know that Aaron always drinks beer and thinks the happy hour price is amazing!

The Sycamore

The Sycamore is located in the heart of German Village. Their normal menu is on the medium price side, but their happy hour options feel like a steal every single time. Each week they have a new happy hour burger and it’s always my go to!

Here’s the Scoop: happy hour is M-F from 4-7pm every week. Ask for their burger of the day, grab yourself a glass of their $5 wine and have yourself a night!

Lindey’s

Lindey’s is the place to visit when you come to Columbus! Nestled in German Village, it will make you feel like you are in a completely different world. Normally I would tell you to save this pick for special occassion since their regular menu is pretty pricey. But! If you’re in the mood for a drink and it’s before 6pm, you should take a little drive over to my part of town. For being such an upscale resturant, Lindey’s happy hour prices and menu is VERY reasonable.

Here’s the Scoop: happy hour is M-F from 4-7pm every week. And if it happens to be summer or spring when you visit, request the patio. It’s truly unreal out there.

Tastings

The new kid on the Short North block is a wine bar that can be found on N High street. Not only do they have more wine then you could possibly drink, they have amazing food options as well! I love wine tasting and try to make an event out of it. It’s been hard to find a great wine tasting place in Columbus, but Tastings has done it!

Here’s the Scoop: happy hour is M-F from 4-6pm every week. Grab the girls and go get your tasting on! Anything red and rose there has my vote.

Bodega

I really should write a separate post all about Bodega… because their specials are UNREAL. They have something new and delicious every day of the week! Feeling a little cheesy on Monday? Head on over to Bodega and get yourself a $1 Grilled Cheese. Searching for the perfect boozy brunch? They have you covered Saturday AND Sunday from 11am-3pm. I really could go on and on about what a steal and hidden gem Bodega is for us Happy Hour lovers.
