Girl, look at you and those leather pants!
Happy Wednesday loves! Hope you’re all having a fabulous week so far, and getting your wardrobe fall ready! This week’s fall trend is all about leather! If you missed the first week of this series make sure to go give it a read! You can find last week’s post here. For this trend I wanted to style a pair of leather pants. Now, this is tricky because the thought of leather pants sends me straight to awful pleather images.
Instead of going full out leather pants, I opted for a pair that had leather on the front only. These pants were a Marshalls find, so I’ve linked some similar styles for you all below! Since the back of these pants are more of a cotton fabric I thought it would be fun to pair it with a baggier sweater. Originally I had the image of wearing a long jacket with this look, but when you’re going to wear faux leather pants, you’ve got to let them be the statement of the outfit!
This is definitely an outfit that pushed me out of my jeans only comfort zone. But y’all, I actually loved it! Sometimes we all need a little bit of a push, and this look was the nudge I needed. I decided to pair these more summerish heels with this look since the weather has been all over the place. It seemed like the perfect contrast and allowed this look to go from day to night seamlessly.
