Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Shopping tips
Happy Wednesday babes! Hope you all are having the best week so far, I can not believe tomorrow is already Thursday. This week is FLYING by! Tomorrow is officially the start of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If this sale is new to you, make sure to read my last post explaining it all! Last year was my first time shopping the sale and honestly it was super overwhelming. So, I’m excited to share some Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Shopping tips I learned from last year with y’all!
How to Shop Smart at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
- Sign up for a Nordstrom Rewards card and get a bonus $40 note to spend to stretch your dollars. The card is also the key to getting to shop the sale during early access starting July 12th. That’s 8 days before the general public and before items start to sell out. You get to start using it immediately upon signing up.
- Take an inventory of what you actually need in the following categories: Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, Jackets, Sweaters, Footwear, Accessories, Handbags, Cosmetics. Take the same inventory of your man’s closet, because let’s be real he probably needs to stop wearing the same button down from 8 years ago (yes I’m talking to you Aaron.)
- Shop with a purpose using your list. Don’t make any last minute emotional purchases of things you don’t need.
- Focus on classic basics like boots, jeans, sweaters, coats and tops. Look for quality investment pieces that will last season after season.
- Sizes sell out fast so don’t hesitate! Especially shoes, so if you spy a cute little suede bootie, jump on it. I can’t tell you, how sad I was last year when I left something in my cart for a few days and it was gone. Remember, you can always return it if you’re not totally in love!
How I Will Help
My game plan for the #NSale this year is to shop online at midnight, pick my items up at the store tomorrow and start sharing immediately! This page will be updated multiple times a week throughout the sale, and I will also add shopping guides over the weekend.
