Let’s Chat About Charleston
Charleston is just dreamy. This was my second time visiting this adorable little town and it definitely won’t be the last. There are so many words I could use to describe Charleston, but dreamy is the only thing that keeps coming to mind.
Where we Stayed: we stayed in a hotel right outside of downtown Charleston. It honestly wasn’t anything special, but we only had one night before heading to Folly beach. Next time I would 100% plan in advance and look for an airbnb in downtown.
Where we Ate: we had brunch at this adorable spot in downtown! It was called Miller’s All Day and hands down a must go place!
We also had dinner at an Irish pub called Mac’s place. They had amazing bar food and cheap drinks. Definitely a must if you’re looking for a casual dinner!

Deep Water Winery
Our first adventure of the weekend was to Deep Water Winery. Y’all know I love wine and everything winery tasting related, so it’s with a heavy heart I tell y’all the wine was not good. The winery itself was gorgeous, the Firefly distillery slushies were delicious and the property was packed with food trucks and live music. If you have a day to kill while in Charleston definitely take a trip to Deep Water, but if your time is limited do not make the 45min drive.
Let’s Chat About Folly Beach
Folly beach has my heart through and through! The beach was beautiful, the town was so adorable and the people were so friendly.
Where we stayed: we rented an airbnb that was a 5min walk from the beach and seconds away from amazing restaurants! The airbnb was super clean, conveniently located and comes with free parking (huge plus!) right outside. You can see our exactly airbnb here!

What We Would Have Done Differently
Aaron and I said that we definitely would have planned the trip for September or October. Overall we had some beautiful weather, but the humidity and heat is no joke. We also would have planned way in advance, rented a place right on the beach and flown into Charleston.
Have you been to Charleston before? I’d love to hear your favorite spot!
