Weekend Adventures – Thanks to Diet Coke®!

Happy Tuesday babes! This weekend flew by, and I can’t  believe we already have another week ahead of us. With all of the craziness that is life lately, I like to keep things fun on a weekly basis. So, Sunday we decided to take a day and re-explore Columbus. With the beautiful weather we were blessed with, there was no way we could stay inside! First stop, grab some of the Diet Coke®  from Giant Eagle.

I’ve always been a Diet Coke® girl. Whether eating pizza or walking around town, Diet Coke® is my go to for a refreshing drink. When we arrived at Giant Eagle, we were immediately greeted by a big display of the Diet Coke® flavors. I immediately knew I had to try them all!

The sleek new can made it easy to bring along and even left enough room to share with friends along the way! Aaron of course loved the idea that I was able to stick a few Diet Coke® cans in my pocket and purse. I mean, with all the new flavors we had to take our time and try them all!

Aaron and I had to give all the flavors a try, starting with naturally flavored Feisty Cherry and finishing up with the Zesty Blood Orange. Best part, they’re all available at your local Giant Eagle now! Here’s what we thought about all the flavors:

• • Ok, so be warned: Feisty Cherry has an attitude. The fruit flavor is sweet, sure. But this one’s a little bit extra. This one has a little sass.
• Ginger Lime
  • LISTEN: Ginger Lime isn’t your ordinary redhead. It’s on another level. It’ll make you question everything you’ve ever known. With just the right amount of lime and ginger flavor, it’s so crisp, it’ll knock your socks off and make you say, “Where have you been all my life?”
• Twisted Mango
  • Ordinary tropical fruit cannot relate,  it’s a wild child. It puts pineapple to shame and laughs at papaya. Once you pull the tab and taste that sweet smooth mango flavor, there’s no containing it.
• Zesty Blood Orange
  • Cracking open a can of zesty blood orange is an experience unto itself. You hear that fizz and taste that zesty blood orange flavored goodness, and your senses just come alive!

To close out Sunday night, Aaron and I made Feisty Grilled chicken for dinner. It was marinated in a mixture of balsamic vinegar, brown sugar and spices. This chicken was amazing and accompanied wiith a mandarin orange Chinese salad and the Zesty Blood Orange Diet Coke®.
