Bachelorette Weekend in Chicago! ALL THE DETAILS

Bachelorette Weekend in Chicago – Let’s Get this Party Started

Happy Wednesday babes! Can y’all believe it’s almost June?! But really, where the heck did the entire month of May go? I spent this past Memorial Day celebrating my Bachelorette Weekend in Chicago with some of the best babes. It was great exploring the city together, attending some amazing events and laughing so much it hurt. If you have a bachelorette weekend coming up, Chicago should be at the very top of your list!

Outfits

It’s no surprise what my favorite outfit from the weekend was… THIS PERFECT TWO PIECE SET! I wore this set for our activity day Saturday and could not get enough of it. It’ll definitely be making another appearance this summer!

We only went out around town one night, so you better believe I made sure the dress was perfect! I loved how easy it was to transition from dinner to out. Would be the perfect date night dress!

Do y’all remember this jumpsuit from my Instagram stories?! I fell in love with it at Loft a few weeks back and had to have it immediately. I love how flattering and comfortable it is, definitely will rock this at another bridal party this summer!

WHERE WE ATE

Parsons Chicken – seriously the best fried chicken sandwich! Add the mac & cheese as your side, and I promise you’ll be in heaven.

The Hampton Social – I had the salmon but had them sub the mustard sauce for miso… let me tell y’all, making that change was the best life choice I could have made!

Related:   Tech Neck

Shore Club – I had the club sandwich, and lets just say everyone was jealous by the size of it. This is the cutest spot and directly faces the beach!

Fremont– We went here for Brunch on Saturday and the amount of food they have is amazing! Think of this as a one of a kind day brunch experience.

Caffe Olivia– If you’re looking for a nice beach location, they have a great spot! We loved the coconut shrimp and olive plate!

WHERE WE STAYED

My sister booked a cute Airbnb a little bit outside of the city. It was about a 15 min uber ride (because the traffic is WILD in Chicago) to any of the places they had planned. I loved not being directly inside the city, it allowed for us to have a large Airbnb and a backyard. Definitely suggest staying somewhere on the outskirts if you visit!

I am so thankful to have been able to spend the weekend with some of my favorite babes! And only two short months until we’re all celebrating together again!

I would love to hear about your favorite spots in Chicago! And if you’re a bride to be, I can’t suggest having your Bachelorette Weekend in Chicago enough!

XOXO

Emily

  1. Looked like and sounds like it was a perfect weekend!! You don’t have to convince me about Chicago 😉 My older sister has lived there for 15 years now and I find any excuse imaginable to go there and visit her and check out new spots in and around the city. In my 20s I used to go to Smart Bar and Vision bar for much needed EDM dancing and all-around fun! And as I got older avoiding the general River North/downtown areas became a necessity because OMGTOURISTSEVERWHERE. But! She did my bachelorette party in Chicago with my bridesmaids and we had the best time! We at Table 52 (now called Blue Door Bistro) which is Art Smith’s restaurant; we did the architectural boat tour of Chicago (something I’d done before but my girls hadn’t so that was fun) and we drank a lot at her place and at various patios in their neighborhood! And of course, for me, no visit is complete without a drink at The Signature Lounge! 🙂

    1. I am so excited Sarah is moving there in a month!
That all sounds so so amazing! We are going back the last weekend in June and I want to do a boat tour so bad! Chicago definitely has some amazing rooftops! Can’t wait to go back!
