HOSTING: Valentine’s Day Brunch

Happy Tuesday loves! It has been absolutely freezing here in Ohio. Someone give me a hot cup of coffee in one of these adorable heart mugs and I’ll be good to go! Each year for the last 3 years, I’ve been hosting some sort of Galentine’s Day at my house. Either a brunch or happy hour, with all of the pink decor you can imagine. Which is why I’m so excited to share this amazing Valentine’s Tablescape with y’all!

This year Aaron and I are doing things a little different for Valentine’s day. We’re actually taking a trip to New Orleans, to visit some of my favorite spots. Which means, I’ve been prepping the house with all the best heart shape coffee cups, pink flowers and gold accents I can find!

When hosting a Galentine’s brunch, I like to keep it simple. White plates, gold utensils and heart mugs. Then add in some pink and red flowers and you are set! I keep the same farmhouse aesthetic throughout every holiday. This is done for a couple of reasons, I love the way our house feels when it’s bright with warm touches and the added holiday decor never feels out of place!

I like to keep my tablescapes realistic, only adding flowers to the center of the table and keeping it simple. There is nothing worse then sitting down at a table and having no where to put your drink. So keep it pink and clean!

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be sharing some more Valentine’s day party and home decor. So make sure you’re staying up to date with my Instagram stories!
