Living Room Makeover – Thanks to Bassett Furniture

This post is graciously sponsored by Bassett Furniture, but all opinions are my own. I only promote brands that I can stand behind 100%, and Bassett Furniture is one of these brands.

Happy Thursday babes! I am so excited to finally share our living room makeover with y’all! If you haven’t had a chance to read about the design process we had with Bassett Furniture last month, make sure to click here. It was a one of a kind experience, and I highly suggest everyone work with a Bassett designer!

It’s pretty obvious Hazel is a fan of our new Decklyn sectional! But, before we jump into today’s post, I want to share all the links to the living room pieces, we styled our space with:

Decklyn Sectional

Modern Serafina Chair

Modern Lucy Drink Table

Kara Ottoman

Duke Rug

Pillow – Clyde

When we moved into our home five months ago, I was dreading our living room space. One of the reasons we fell in love with our house was because of the open floor plan. What neither of us really took into consideration, was how to actually create a distinct living room space, with a split level home. The stairs to the second level create a strange cut out in the living room area, so we were convinced we would only ever be able to have a sectional in the room. I am so thankful, our Bassett designer was able to see past the weird shaped room and create the living room of our dreams!

Thanks to Bassett Furniture, my living room makes the entire house feel like a home! For the last two weeks Aaron and I have looked at each other every single day and said, “it finally feels like home.” Bassett helped us both bring a little bit of our own personalities and mold it into a space we can not get enough of! It takes everything inside of me, not to spend every waking hour in our living room.

If I had to summarize Bassett in 2 words, they would be QUALITY and CLASSY. When we first moved into our house Aaron and I both decided that we would not waste our money on cheap furniture. When we lived in our last house, we bought pieces just to complete the house, and it never felt like a home. Since we knew this would be a house we would live in for years, we decided that every piece of furniture needed to count. Every piece from Bassett will be able to grow and move with us. Their furniture is made to last, and I can not wait to have this sectional move into the next home with us.

If you take away nothing else from this blog post, remember this: Bassett is high quality furniture, that is customized and will last for years to come.

I’ve always wanted a light cream or white couch, which can seem like an impossible dream when you have a clumsy dog and spill prone family. But before you freak out over all of the potential stains that can come with lighter furniture, I have some amazing news for you! With Bassett, you get the best of both worlds. Our designer shared Bassett’s Revolution fabric with us, which is a naturally stain resistant fiber that’s really easy to clean if a spill, dirty dog or life happens. Bassett offers several colors and patterns in this fabric. And as you all can see, Hazel is pretty thankful she can enjoy Bassett Furniture’s cozy pieces too!

We’ve had our new living room for almost three weeks now, and the most amazing part is the memories that are already being made in this space. We finally have enough seating for all of our friends and family, and we can’t wait to host every March Madness and Football game this fall! From Sunday morning coffee cuddled up on the couch, to laughing until it hurts with our friends, Bassett has truly made our house feel like a home.

XOXO
