Happy Saturday!
I’m currently sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to finally take off. We’ve been delayed for about six hours now and Delta keeps pushing the flight out further.
This delay has given me some time to write a post I’ve been meaning to get around to. I want to clarify that this is not a sponsored post. I’m truly a believer and fan of these magical jeans.
As many of you probably already know, I’m obsessed with Old Navy. Specifically their Rockstar line of jeans. Finding comfortable jeans for a tall girl with hips is a struggle 🙄
The Rockstar jeans come in four different lengths: petite, standard, tall and long. The tall option is only available online, if you are 5’9” and above you NEED these tall jeans in your life.
The first time I purchased a pair of the Rockstar jeans I tried them on in the store. I wasn’t sure which size I would be and if I’d even like the fit. After trying on the first pair I was hooked.
What I love the most about this line is that regardless of the color of denim (minus white), if you stick with the Rockstar line they always fit the same. Whenever I’m in the store I’ll buy a pair of the “long” colored jeans. These longs fit like a cropped jean on me. See picture below for long rockstar jeans:
I think the cropped look is great for spring and summer work wear.
So why do I love these jeans?
1. Well they are stretchy- 🙌🏻 I don’t know about y’all, but I used to hate wearing jeans. The waistband would curl, they were never long enough and not be dramatic, but jeans felt like a prison for my legs. These jeans have stretch and the waistband on the high rise option doesn’t curl or budge.
2. They do not loose their shape throughout the day or multiple wears- Isn’t it the worst when you put on a pair of jeans and within a few hours they’re baggy? That has to be my BIGGEST annoyance when it comes to denim. Let’s be real, no one wants a saggy butt. I’ve worn these jeans multiple times in a week and they fit the same every single time.
3. The price is ridiculous- The Rockstar jeans are typically $30, but old navy runs insane promotions weekly. Which means I’ve walked out of the store with 3 pairs of these jeans for $50 before 👀 that’s the same price if not less than a designer pair of jeans.
4. They last for years– I purchased my first pair of Rockstar jeans 3 years ago. And not only do they still fit the same, they look the same! I’m the first to admit I’m not easy on my clothing. I wear the heck out of my favorite pieces and definitely do my best to get my money’s worth. You would think a $30 pair of jeans would be done for after a few months. But the quality of these jeans outlasts their competitors.
So my last point/question 👉🏼 hey old navy, y’all want to sponsor your girl yet? 😜
Hope this helped to break down why I’m so obsessed with these jeans. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask!
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
