Transitioning Your Closet – Fall Workwear Style

Fall Workwear Style

Happy Wednesday babes! We have a busy week and weekend of packing boxes ahead of us. It’s crazy how many things you can accumulate over a year and a half.  Make sure to stay up to date with all the adventures over on my Instagram Story. One of my top asked questions is, how can I wear my summer clothes throughout fall & my favorite wines. I shared my top wine choices in last week’s post, so make sure to head on over there to see the wine’s currently occupying our bar cart! Today is all about planning the perfect Fall Workwear Style, using some of your summer pieces.

Let’s jump into today’s post! If you’re new around here, then it’s no surprise to you that I love re-styling summer tops in the fall. My go to fall outfit is actually a tank, long cardigan, distressed jeans and booties. Simple and easy!

Even though jeans and cardigan are perfect for the weekend, sometimes that just won’t pass the work week test. Which is why I decided to share with y’all how I would transition some of my summer clothes into the perfect work week outfit!

When it comes to a Fall Workwear Style, I like to keep it simple and pick pieces that could easily be worn to dinner or happy hour after work. Because let’s be honest, after a long day of work you’re hitting up that $4 wine special and you need to be prepared!

I love pairing mustard yellow clothing with white. The yellow really gives the fall feeling while, the white still keeps the outfit light and airy.

If you’ve been a Vino in the Village reader for awhile, then you know these block heels are a staple in my closet! Part of the problem with the early weeks of fall, is that the mornings are cool and the rest of the day feels like summer. I love wearing these summer block heels throughout September and October.
