Tupelo Honey

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I’m already missing all the food I ate this past weekend, is that weird? 😅

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably saw I ate at Tupelo Honey in Sandy Springs twice this weekend. I’m not ashamed of it either! Did I eat the same thing both days? Kind of…

Tupelo does this awesome thing where they offer breakfast on Saturday and a different brunch menu on Sunday. Majority of the items overlap but they have specials and new starters on Sunday.

Saturday morning I decided to try Tupelo’s classic bloody mary. It had the perfect spice, bite and delicious flavor.

Both days I ordered the  Southern Shakshuka both days and it was AMAZING. The base was a layer of goat cheese grits, then eggs, avocado and topped with creole sauce. Saturday I had the eggs scrambled and Sunday I decided to stick with the baked eggs. Honestly it was great both ways and I would eat it every single morning if possible.

Sunday morning my roommate and I split the chefs two course special. We decided to have avocado toast for the first course and the Southern Shakshuka naturally for the second. If you go to Tupelo for brunch and do not order their avocado toast you’ve made a grave error. That toast was so delicious and the amount of avocado they give you is unreal.

Overall I was beyond satisfied with Tupelo Honey. The amount of food they provide and the quality is truly great. You will not leave hungry and if anything you’ll be back the next day.
