TRAVEL GUIDE: New Orleans

Happy Thursday babes! In honor of thirsty Thursday, I’m finally sharing our trip to New Orleans. We had such a fun week exploring NOLA and all this fun city has to offer!

WHERE WE STAYED: Le Pavillion

This hotel was seriously gorgeous! The lobby is lined with chandeliers, the staff was amazing and each night they serve PB&J’s with milk. Like hello, I’m in heaven!

Now let’s talk about the rooms! One of the things I always love being surprised by is the mattresses, because nothing is worse then staying on a lumpy mattress! The beds at the Le Pavillion were like clouds.

WHERE WE WENT

Bourbon Street

Honestly, if you don’t visit Bourbon Street did you really go to NOLA? Aaron had to try one of the world famous Grenades and I had to get some red beans and rice. Balance right?

FAVORITE BOURBON STREET STOPS:

  • Tropical Isle
  • Cat’s Meow
  • The Swamp

French Quarter

The French Quarter is NOLA’s historic neighborhood, and takes me back to our honeymoon in France. The French Quarter is the city’s historic heart, famous for its nightlife and colorful buildings with cast-iron balconies. The French Quarter has quieter streets that lead to the French Market, with gourmet food and local crafts, and to Jackson Square where street performers entertain in front of soaring St. Louis Cathedral.

There are so many amazing places to visit in the French Quarter! Some of our favorites were:

  • Cafe Beignet
  • Napoleons
  • Brennan’s
  • Carousel bar

Dan & Shay Concert

We ended our trip in NOLA with an amazing Dan & Shay concert and Meet & Greet! This was hands down one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! Dan & Shay were truly amazing and I’m already trying to see when I can see them next.

WHAT I WORE

All of my outfits throughout our trip were from On Trend Mobile and VICI. If you’ve been following along on my Instastories, then you already know these two stores have been my go to for 2019! They have amazing quality clothing and the price point is just too amazing.

NOLA has always been such a fun place to visit! Each time I go, there’s always a new hidden gem to be discovered. I can not wait for us to take another trip back to NOLA next year! I would love to hear what your favorite place in NOLA is!

Xoxo
